This day was the day we were waiting for as in the night of June 1, about 9 P.M. (Indonesian time zone), we would fly to United States to start our journey there. We went to Soekarno Hatta International Airport to start our flight. To travel to United States, we would need to take 3 flights. We needed to transit in Changi International Airport (SIN) and Hongkong International Airport (HKG) before we would arrive in San Francisco International Airport (SFO).
Our flights took so long time. Our first flights to Singapore took only about 1 hour, the second flight to Hongkong took longer time, 6 hours, and the last flights, which is to San Francisco took the much longer time than before, 12 hours. What a long flight!
We arrived at San Francisco in June 2, about 9 A.M. (America timezone) and we met staffs from Legacy International – Suzanne, Yanty, and Marci. Then we just went to Hotel to have lunch and short introduction.

After the lunch finished, we had a city tour to visit some interesting places in San Francisco. Our city tour was guided by Sylvia. We went to Pier 39 which was so crowded, Lombard Street which is so cool, and many others. Our first day here was amazing, although actually we were a little jetlagged. Our city tour ended in a Thai Restaurant. We had our dinner there and then we went back to our hotel. We all sleep well that night.
